We are happy to report another trapping success in West New York! Gerry and I trapped 2 black & white kitties. One was male and the other was a pregnant female. Both kitties were under a year old. It shows how fast they get pregnant. Tux & Spot (named by a little girl whose father owns the restaurant where we trapped) have been fixed and are doing well. They recovered quickly after the surgery. We fostered them through the weekend so they could recover and avoid the very hot weather our area had. We had a big storm Sunday night and they were happily safe & dry inside. Monday morning, they were ready to go "home" so we released them back to their outdoor adventures. They ran off happy to be free again. Both kitties are much better off now that they are fixed. Our male Tux will be much less likely to fight and roam and Spot won't have multiple litters. Please consider taking a course in TNR (trap, neuter, release) if offered in your area or educate yourself online. It is a great way to help the kitties in your neighborhood.
