Many people have come up to me over the years and have said, they wish they could do more or even just do something, but they are only ONE person... That is why we created this blog. One person can do more than they probably realize.
This is Lauhu!! She is a LOVE! Lauhu was found in a warehouse in Hoboken by my fellow rescue friends Patti & Robyn. Now Laushu has a loving home with a terrific family. Patti & Robyn do a lot of rescue work and I was lucky enough to meet them, become friends with them & learn from them. When I decided I wanted to try and help, I too thought, I am only one person, what can I really accomplish? What I didn't realize back then, was I would meet people who shared my interest and my passion to help. I may not be able to do everything that I want to do as one person but, we help each other along the way... where we can, when we can. Sometimes help is making and distributing flyers or facebook shares. Sometimes help is passing on a potential adopter to one another to assist in finding good homes. Sometimes help is just being around to support one another during the TNR process. The support and assistance is always there so even though I am only one person, I have a great community around me that have their hearts & minds open to help.
So this post is to all of the people who think they can't do much... just try and do something, try and get involved and you will find other caring people who are doing the same. Then 'one' becomes Many and great things will happen.
