CATPROOF AND SAVE YOUR
KITTY!
Recently one of my dear Cat
clients had to have surgery after eating a dryer sheet. Another Cat friend got
very sick after eating a tissue. This raises the importance of Catproofing your
home (it also applies to Dogs.)
Please make sure these items are
safely kept away from Kitty Paws:
*Plastic bags: the chemicals in
the bag are enticing to Cats.
*Dryer
sheets*Paper including tissue and toilet paper
*Plants and flowers like baby’s breath which is added to Valentine Roses bouquets.
*Rubber bands
*Twist ties on bread and other items
*Any kind of tape. I recently caught my dear Tigger trying to snack on packing tape.
*Medicine especially pills.
*Toys with long strings or fishing line, so your kitty doesn't get tangled when you are not at home.
Doing these
little preventative steps can save heartache, sleepless nights and big vet
bills
