Ear Tipping & Lola Update

Lola!! Lola has really cool markings and she is such a love bug :) If you look closely you will notice that her left ear is 'tipped'*. When we first found Lola and her kittens, we planned to have them vet-checked, fixed, then adopt out her kittens, and return Lola to her 'home'.  We had her ear 'tipped' so other people would know she was already fixed and wouldn't work to TNR her. Then after just a little time with Lola, we realized what a sweet kitty she was and decided to find her a home too. So glad we did! She was adopted by a friend who sends updates and pictures all of the time. They are very happy together!

*Ear tipping is when the vet clips the very top of the ear, it does not hurt the cat. This is important to do to outside/feral cats because it shows that the cat has been fixed. This way the cat isn't found again and taken in for the same surgery.
